Plastic Surgery for Barbie

It surely is no surprise, but the plastic surgery game aiming at kids has now been taken down. The decision was taken by the 2 major download stores, the App Store and Android’s Google Play. The title’s gameplay involved the use of scalpels and performing liposuction and it also labelled an overweight girl as ‘ugly’. The app was hence described as “sexist and disturbing” by various bodies. Plastic Surgery for Barbie was also taken down for having shamelessly used a child-friendly term such as ‘Barbie’ to target young children.
