Little Big Mansion, a puzzle adventure game with a gloomy gameplay and simple graphics, is likely to thrill players with its rather unique gameplay. Gamers will play 2 magicians and have the task of moving boxes around or resizing them to move onto other levels. The trailer released to announce the title gives a perfect idea of what to expect from this application and one can only say that it’s indeed pretty compelling. Release day, come soon!

Game Insight has announced the making of a spin off to its hit city builder, The Tribez. The forthcoming title has been dubbed ‘The Tribez & Castlez’ and will be launched as a multi-platformer on Android, iOS, Amazon and Facebook. The new mobile game will also come with a bit of a twist to the original gameplay and ‘The Tribez & Castlez’ will hence be set in a whole different world. To add to the fantasy, players should experience magic like never before, fight funny monsters and keep up with their city building works. A specific release date for the application is yet to be revealed and gamers are advised to stay tuned with the title’s Facebook page or its official site.

X-Men: Battle of the Atom

The wait is now over X-Men fans! You will finally be able to meet all of your favourite super heroes with this brand new card battle game dubbed X-Men: Battle of the Atom. The title was been released by the developers, Aeria Mobile a few days ago and it is for free on the App Store. This amazing new application has 45 story driven missions in store and will showcase 50 years of X-Men history.

Surgeon Simulator 2013

Those into  will be thrilled to learn that more is coming their way but with a hint of dental care. The developer, Bossa Studios, is now working on a game that they named Surgeon Simulator: Malpractice Makes Perfect. The latter was announced via a video released on the official YouTube channel of the studio but only shows a hint of the gameplay. More information is yet to be revealed and gamers are hence advised to stay tuned.

Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition

Beamdog, has now released Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition, a touch-optimized version of the game. The title is exclusive to the App Store and can only be played on iPads. Priced at $14.99, this enhanced version of the application comes with various campaigns, among which is the Shadows of Amn and the Black Pits 2 campaigns. To boot, in-app purchases allow players to unlock various useful features, adding to the fun.

Betty Boop Dance Card

Fowl Moon Studios is presently working on Betty Boop Dance Card, a game with a planned release for this spring.  Betty Boop, the 1930s cartoon diva will be the lead character and the game will be a card collecting title. The title will be an iOS exclusive title and will hit the App Store at some point in spring. Also note that apart from Miss Betty, Bimbo or Old Man of the Mountain will also be part of the rhythm action game. While it is also known that up 20 original tracks from the cartoon musical heritage will also be integrated into the app, the developer is yet to announce the price. Stay tune for more!   

‘Plastic Surgery for Barbie’ taken down!

Plastic Surgery for Barbie

It surely is no surprise, but the plastic surgery game aiming at kids has now been taken down. The decision was taken by the 2 major download stores, the App Store and Android’s Google Play. The title’s gameplay involved the use of scalpels and performing liposuction and it also labelled an overweight girl as ‘ugly’. The app was hence described as “sexist and disturbing” by various bodies. Plastic Surgery for Barbie was also taken down for having shamelessly used a child-friendly term such as ‘Barbie’ to target young children.  

Ultimate Gay Fighter hitting mobile platforms soon

Inspired by the Mortal Combat series and injected with a hint of Street Fighter, Ultimate Gay Fighter is definitely a mobile game to look out for. The game is now being developed by Michael Patrick and will release at some point this month. The targeted platforms are the App Store, Google Play and the Windows Phone Store. To boot, Mr Patrick has smartly replaced the epic ‘Fatalities’ with ‘Gaytalities’ and hence further differentiating Ultimate Gay Fighter from Mortal Combat.

Drive: USA now launched by Codemasters. now launched by Codemasters.

ImageThe Singapore App Store is now hosting an endless driving game in the name of Drive: USA. The mobile application by Codemasters is free-to-play and shall hence come with in-app purchases. The game will consist of controlling a car with simple touch controls and swipes, while collecting coins and other freebies on the way. Drive: USA will also introduce a new genre of endless running and shall come with great 3D graphics and action. Stay tuned for the worldwide release! 

Game of Thrones Ascent coming to iOS and Android.

Game of Thrones Ascent

The Game of Thrones series is like to get its 1st mobile game tie-in at some point this year. The developer, Disruptor Beam, has announced that the title will be on both iOS and Android and that the Facebook version is up and running. Players would obviously be able to link their social and mobile games to play across platforms. Game of Thrones Ascent will be a strategy game and cultivating lands, completing quests and pledging alliances are among the various tasks that will be assigned to gamers. Also note, that the game will strictly follow the storyline of the TV series and the major characters will all be showcased.
